Activation and update security
Device-bound signed leases allow up to three days offline. Issued keys are stored as hashes. Each installation proves possession of its own protected private key. Update packages are checked against a signed manifest and SHA-256 hash before installation.
Revoking a key/device cannot instantly reach a disconnected PC. Customer-controlled offline software cannot be guaranteed impossible to patch or crack. Cloud operations must enforce shop and licence authorization independently.
Keep recovery codes and backups outside this VPS. Never publish issuer private keys or owner credentials. This owner panel is separate from shop staff access and the online store administrator.
